Rain City Builds is owned and operated by Caleb Helm, a third-generation builder and long-time West Seattle resident. With over two decades of experience in construction and a proven track record of excellence, Caleb is returning to his roots: custom home building.

Caleb’s passion for construction began early, growing up in a family of builders where his father, uncles, and brothers all worked in the industry. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, where he completed an overseas deployment as an F-18 aviation ordnance mechanic, Caleb pursued his education in Civil Engineering at the University of Washington. Specializing in structural and construction engineering, he gained the technical knowledge to complement his hands-on building expertise.

In 2016, Caleb founded HelmBuilds, focusing on outdoor construction, remodels, and new builds. By 2018, he launched Rain City Fence, dedicating his efforts to perfecting fence construction. Under his leadership, Rain City Fence grew into a thriving business, completing over 1,000 fence projects with a 4.8-star rating on Google and earning a reputation for precision, quality, and customer satisfaction. With Rain City Fence’s systems now fully dialed in, Caleb is ready to expand his focus and return to his true passion: building custom homes.

The company is dedicated to crafting custom homes, remodels, and additions tailored to meet the unique needs of Seattle-area homeowners.
